English Georgian Style Tufted Leather Chesterfield Wingback Settee

Beautifully aged English Chesterfield wingback settee or sofa. Featuring a tufted cordovan leather upholstery bordered by brass tack nailheads. The mahogany frame made in the Georgian taste features English rolled arms and large fully developed wings in an hourglass profile. The generous seat is fitted with loose seat cushions and is very comfortable. The arm rests measure: 24 inches high. Classic English style with subtle humpback and peaked corners. The settee is supported by square reeded legs conjoined by a H-shaped stretcher. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship from an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
