Original Biedermeier Settee, South Germany, 1810-20
About the Item
This unique original Neoclassical Biedermeier Settee dates back to 1810-20 and comes from southern Germany. It features a pretty cherry veneer which is decorated with geometric and floral inlays. The open back and sides have ebonized details. The bench comes professionally refinished with a updated upholstery and a new pretty JAB Anstoetz woven Chenille fabric “Balou” in black. The settee ships from Germany and includes shipping costs to Boston.
