Beautiful and iconic Costela sofa by legendary Brazilian designers Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler for Forma, Brazil. Very good condition, Il nome "Costela", che si traduce come costola, è evidente nel design con le sue otto doghe di legno colorate di scuro che assomigliano a una struttura a costine. The slats are placed rhythmically and curve upward on the sides.
Martin Eisler (Vienna, Austria, 1913 - São Paulo, Brazil, 1977) was an architect and furniture designer.
He was part of a group of European architects and designers who left Europe during the chaos of World War II and went to live and work in Brazil.
