Unique Danish Cabinetmaker Settee 1930s
About the Item
Unique form. Elegantly-curved settee was just redone in linen canvas with vegetable-tanned leather trim and buttons. Legs are solid stained beech. Reminiscent of designs by Nanna Ditzel, Finn Juhl, Tove & Edvard Kindt-Larsen and dates to the early 1940s. Made in Denmark. The leather will darken as time passes and with sun exposure. One of a kind piece, recently imported from Europe.
