Pair of George I style Japanned lacquered and caned side chairs in the manner of Giles Grendey (English, 1693-1780), with shaped crestrail above japanned backsplat between caned panels above a caned seat on decorated shaped seat rail on four cabriole legs, similarly decorated, and terminating in cloven hoof feet.
