Late 19th Century Antique Pair of Gray Painted Swedish Arm Chairs

About the Item

The gracious curves seen in these two arm chairs are reflective of Sweden's love of Rococo styling. Curved backs, cabriolet legs, turned spindles as stretchers and carved details all combine for a romantic look to each chair. The soft, dove gray painted finish reveals minor distressing throughout adding to its aged look; any scratches, dings, minor cracks/separation are age related and do not impact strength nor use. Note small missing piece on one front foot. The seats sit firmly and are covered in a simple linen fabric; this delightful pair of arm chairs is ready to be placed, used and enjoyed.
