A beautiful Ilana Goor attributed leather and iron chair, in an old world meets Brutalist style. This chair possesses an attractive light patina built up over time, but well cared for - so is in excellent vintage condition, sturdy and stabile, structurally sound and ready for immediate use. Based on the materials and construction, and the other Ilana Goor authenticated items we have had, we believe this to be by Ilana Goor however without confirmation we are listing this as attributed to. The wrought iron frames feature incredible design details, with multiple twists and wraps, knots, rustic joinery and welds... all those beautiful details that made Ilana Goor's designs so sought after. The beautiful brown / cognac colored leather seats and seat backs are simply beautiful. We wouldn't call the leather distressed, as it is in good condition, however it has a "light distressed-style" with some patina spots that gives it an aged look which helps to create an overall style of laid-back casualness, and sophisticated classiness. Consider using these chairs in a covered patio, or as dining chairs, would look great in a Spanish or Mediterranean home, or consider in a Contemporary or Mid-Century Modern room. Would look great with a large stone dining table...
