Pair of 19th Century. Antique English Ebonised Victorian Side Chairs A beautiful pair of Victorian bergere. Ebonised, mother of pearl; and gilt work, decorative show side chairs. Rarely to be found in pairs. This pair has lovely mother-of-pearl inlay, gold leaf painting and original ebonised finish. One chair has its front legs slightly more splayed out than the other. English, 1860s Condition: Original rattan seats in good condition. There are some light age and use related patina marks here and there and some losses to the inlay as you would expect for an item of this age. Dimensions: Height: 83 cm x 38 Cms Width x 40 Cms Depth (Seat height 41 Cms)
