About the Item
A pair of Swiss ‘Pirmin’ chairs designed by Heinz Julen in the 1990s. These sculptural chairs feature a variety of materials; they have industrial stainless steel frames with upholstered seats, arms and seat backs in original cream leather. The subtly curved back legs are constructed with carved teak wood, which contrast beautifully with the leather and steel. Unmarked. Switzerland, 1990s.

CONDITION: Fair vintage condition. The original leather was professionally conditioned, but shows significant wear including cracking, stains and areas of discoloration. Patina and oxidation to the stainless steel frames. Reupholstery recommended; we have elected to sell it in its current state so the end user can select their fabric. Upholstery services are available through our showroom (Fabric + Upholstery Labor is not included in the purchase price).
