Pair of Postmodern Handcrafted Maple Chairs Signed Brice B. Durbin 1996

Fabulous pair of Dauphin BOBO Postmodern accent chairs by Dietmar Sharping with red leather seat, polished aluminum feet, and molded maple plywood curved back. Gorgeous almost new condition with age-appropriate wear. Please see photos, circa late 20th century. Oh man!! Just look at this awesome pair of BOBO accent chairs!! These Postmodern beauties were previously located in an architect’s office which is a bit ironic considering they were designed by German architect Dietmar Sharping for Dauphin Furniture! They were designed in the early 1990s for a sculptural seating program for Dauphin. Their ergonomic design with the undulating maple plywood back and bulbus seat is deceivingly comfortable. This pair is comprised of stunning red leather, natural maple backs, and polished aluminum feet. They would be fabulous in a sitting room, a den or office, or one on each side of a sofa or loveseat. They have so much personality and the possibilities are endless! We are in love with this pair of BOBO chairs...

Awesome black wood folding director’s chair with a handmade black, brown, and white geometric pattern needlepoint sling seat and back. It is in wonderful vintage condition. Awesome vintage Spanish Revival Savonarola or Curule chair with velvety chenille fabric and hammered steel nail head details. Circa, 1960-1970’s. This is a chair fit for a KING… or a QUEEN!!! This is an absolutely fabulous chair… some call it a Savonarola or Curule chair, it may also be known as a Renaissance or Dante style chair. All correct, and all very similar in style with slightly different features. It is palatial in structure with a wide U-shaped seat and frame with curved legs which create an X style base. It is comprised of gorgeous dark stained wood with horizontal turned spindles under the arms and turned stretchers on the base. The seat and back is upholstered in a fantastic gold striped velvety chenille fabric with hammered steel nail head details, and it has a carved flower motif in the center under the seat. It is sturdy, richly carved, and has a spacious, splendid design! It is Spanish Revival in style with a bit of Medieval or Renaissance Revival flair and it is sure to be an eye-catching piece in any room of your home. It would be wonderful in a corner of your bedroom, in the study across from the fireplace, or as an accent chair in the living room.
