The Palma chair / Silla Palma
Casted from Latania lontaroides Palm leaves, dried and carefuly formed to create the quasi-im- mposible mold that gives birth to this piece. The Palma Chair explores the materialty and possibli- ties of the efimeral leaf, it’s finitude and later it’s inmortalization into a solid brass object that defies the weightlessness of the leaf.
