We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning fully restored circa 1900 hand dyed whiskey brown leather Chesterfield sofa with feather filled cushions This sofa is one of the nicest I have seen in terms of original patina, it looks and feels every bit of its 120+ years old. The feather filled cushions are very comfortable especially since they are supported by a traditional Victorian coil sprung seat platform The leather has been hand dyed from the ground up keeping all the original patination but giving it a wonderful look and feel. The legs have been fitted with 12mm axels so they can be removed for ease of transport Dimensions: Height 87.5cm, seat height 63cm Width 206cm Depth 90cm This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
