1960s Modern Curved Back Walnut Frame Sofa in NEW Stout Fabric
About the Item
Offered is an absolutely gorgeous, Adrian Pearsall style, mid-century modern curved-back sofa, circa 1960's; Attributed to Baker Furniture Company. The piece features a unique, exposed walnut trimmed frame and double front legs (7 legs total -- 4 front, 2 back, 1 center). The silhouette of this sofa is incredible; a modern curved back that's replicated in the front, swooped arms, and flared back legs. Truly a mid-century modern masterpiece!
It has been newly reupholstered in a textured, ivory and gold metallic, Stout Fabric (Nicklaus in the Pearl colorway). The fabric is a Polyester/Acrylic/Viscose blend, making it easy to maintain its beauty! Reupholstery included; new fabric with self-welt and buttons, new foam cushions, 8-way hand-tie construction, and tight box (attached) back cushion. Structurally sound and comfortable as a formal living room seating surface!
