They offer a reasonable flat-rate fee for delivery and set up to the ground floor of your home. They deliver to the vast majority of the lower 48 states. They offer a flat rate for most of our items with exclusions for the largest or most complex items such as breakfronts or crystal chandeliers or other items of greater complexity. Most deliveries to the East Coast will be 295.00, to the mid-west and Southern mid-west 395.00. To the areas west of Kansas 495.00 and the farthest points to the West coast will be 595.00. Again, some areas we can't cover, however we can deliver to most of the lower 48 states so please inquire to be sure! Delivery times range from as fast as 1-4 weeks for the east coast to 5-9 weeks to the farthest areas of the west coast, sometimes longer and sometimes even shorter. If it is a time sensitive purchase, we may be able to accommodate you for a higher price. It is our goal to please each and every one of our customers with the highest standard of service possible. There will be times when additional patience will be necessary. This is a truly irreplaceable piece of furniture with provenance and history. This truly masterfully done Chippendale style 1880s era English breakfront or bookcase. The bookcase measures an imposing 123 3/4" h x 146 1/4" w x 24" d and certainly isn't for every home. In fact, if you look at where it was, it looks to be of normal size. The piece was purchased for the Philadelphia landmark luxury condominium that was built in 1963 and is directly across the Philadelphia Museum of art. If you aren't familiar with this fantastic museum, you may be familiar with the movie "Rocky" as he ran up the steps and had a flock of admiring children following him. That's the museum! The breakfront is made of solid walnut and will show minor signs of age and use, some locks are missing and we will replace panes of glass that have old cracks in them and a few moldings that need to be done in order to be completed which we will do for you. The lower middle right center drawer is slightly warped as often happens in antiques from Europe...

Antique English Leather Chesterfield Sofa that just emerged out of our inhouse Old Plank Upholstery Department, after a very long and exhausted stay. Restoring or conserving an old leather is truly a dying Art and very few shops today have the knowledge to properly Restore old leather. The Classic English Chesterfield Tufted Leather Sofa was invented in the mid-1700’s when Lord Philip Stanhope (1694-1773), who was the Fourth Earl of Chesterfield decided to commission a comfortable sofa for his guests to sit on. Today, the Classic English Chesterfield Sofa is one of the most recognized and popular sofas in the world and for good reason. The Chesterfield Sofa is both comfortable, great looking and never goes out of style. Our Antique English Leather Chesterfield Sofa is but one of (3) Antique Leather Chesterfield Sofas we have in stock, with each one having gone through a lengthy and laborious Conservation Process. Our Upholstery Department tries to save as much of the Original Leather as possible and generally we save about 75%. The coil springs are re-tied 8-ways by hand and we only use Horsehair, Shredded Coco Fibers, and Wadded Wool for padding. Describing the colour of this Chesterfield may be more difficult than the Conservation process. The colour is neither Black, nor Brown or Cordovan, but rather a rich blend of all three.
