Sectional sofa Palmo by Amura Lab Designer: Emanuel Gargano Model shown: Leather - Daino 004 Inspired by the natural gesture of an opening hand, Palmo is the new living concept designed by Emanuel Gargano. The leather folds become the exceptional characteristics of its embracing nature, as an unmistakable sign that takes us back to the roots of our history. The modular elements design the space, taking turns the most classic shapes to the most irregular and free compositions, while the embracing padding softness recalls his warm nature that is always ready to host in the intimacy of its shapes. Not a simple sofa, but a new and deeper interpretation which aims to give back to the living, its primary function inside the houses in its form and concept. Emanuel Gargano was born in Assisi, Italy, where he received his creative training and where he is still based. After his studies in Urbino, he gathered international professional experience in London and NewYork. Today his professional life is divided between his office in London and his workshop in Assisi. He has designed for major Italian design companies and received numerous international awards, such as the Red Dot Design Award, the Good Design Award, the German Design Award and the Compasso d’Oro.
