About the Item

Vintage design sofa Sofa model no. 35 designed by Arne Wahl Iversen, manufactured by Komfort, Denmark, 1960. This comfortable sofa with impressive woodwork on the back is made out of solid teak and is equipped with new upholstery. As indicated it is a good looking beauty but the craftsmanship really shows on the back. We would always suggest to put this beauty in free standing mode if the space allows for it. Sofa reupholstered with Kvadrat The cushions have been completely replaced. The seat cushions are made of cold foam HR45 8 cm thick. The back cushions are made of polyether SG30 8cm thick. We have chosen for the Danish quality fabric Kvadrat Coda 2 color 0222. This fabric can best be described as a 'three-dimensional' woolen furniture fabric. The fabric consists of 90% wool and 10% polyamide and is woven in two layers in a geometric pattern. You'll want to touch this fabric right away to experience for yourself how the rough-looking surface feels. Wonderfully soft and comfortable! The new upholstery is sewn closed by hand for a perfect finish. The sofa only has some minor signs of wear on the teak frame, which makes the vintage condition excellent.
