An important French Neoclassical painted & parcel gilt canapé first quarter 19th century Lombardy, Italy. The backrest with paneled top rail decorated with wreaths, the wooden armrests (23.75 h) raised on lovely supports decorated with acanthus leaves, all raised on carved legs with gold gilt feet. New neutral white upholstery. Bought in the South of France.
