Three seat sofa, leather, Europe, 1970s Exiting sofa design with strong space age characteristics. This sofa was made in Europe in the 1970s and clearly expresses the post-modern traits of that period in furniture design. Design in the seventies was all about going beyond the strict conventions of modernism, with the exploration of the different qualities of materials, use of pop colors, with peculiar and symbolic appearances as the outcome. This design is no exception, it reminds of a space ship due to the very clear lines and the monotone use of materials. Please note that this item is in used condition. The leather shows differences in color and patina. There are some scratches visible in the leather. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier.
