Italian 19th Century White Painted Sofa with Slanted Sides and Distressed Patina

About the Item

An Italian painted wood sofa from the 19th century, with two slanted sides, tapered carved legs and distressed patina. Created in Italy during the 19th century, this painted sofa features a straight back connected to two slanted sides, surrounding a long rectangular seat. Newly reupholstered with a simple neutral toned double welt linen fabric, the seat is resting above four tapered legs with carved accents. If you don't like the very much sought-after character and associated flaws and imperfections typical of antique pieces, this sofa is not for you! With its clean lines and weathered appearance, this Italian painted and upholstered wooden sofa from the 19th century will bring an elegant presence to any home, perhaps placed in a living room, bedroom or foyer.
