French, early 20th century.
Measures: Height 100cm, width 148cm, depth 75cm.
Upholstered with leopard skin, these remarkably lavish, luxurious, and ornate sofas are crafted from giltwood, and were made in early twentieth century France, circa 1920.
Radiant, lavish, and brightly gilded, these fine pieces, with giltwood frames and sumptuously lined seating surfaces, make for exceptionally grand statement pieces. Simply unmissable, the sheer presence, luxury, and royalty by these pieces is not to be underestimated, representing the pure opulence of early twentieth century French style, drawing upon a host of earlier stylistic influences.
