About the Item
A stunning sofa designed by Austrian-American designer Henry P Glass for the J. L. chase Company Forecast Group. No sofa was ever mentioned in the JL chase company Forecast Furniture advertisement, so this could be a custom order or a one off design, as we have never seen another example. We have the matching pair of chairs ready for upholstery in this same design if you are looking to make a suite. American made with Italian styling and exaggerated splayed legs. This sofa would work well with designs from Gio ponti, Edward Wormley, Vladimir Kagan, or Robsjohn Gibbings.

Recently Upholstered, New foam, very comfortable. Brass legs showing plating loss and minor corrosion consistent with age and use.
