Restored Six-Strand Square Square Pretzel Sofa & Lounge Chair Set
About the Item
Mid Century rattan living-room set including a matching 3-seat sectional sofa and lounge chair. Both feature the famous six-strand square pretzel side arms and stacked rattan base originally designed by Paul Frankl.

Sofa 34" tall x 81" wide x 36" deep, seat height 15".
Lounge chair 29.5" tall x 34" wide x 36" deep, seat height 15".
Tropical Sun Rattan was started in 1934 at 117 West Colorado Blvd in Pasadena. By 1938 we had showrooms in the Los Angeles and San Francisco furniture marts and have been selling rattan furniture ever since. We moved to the famous Melrose Ave in the 1970s and combined our storefront with Harvey's in West Hollywood. “Harvey literally wrote the book on rattan furniture in 1997.” We buy, refinish and sell vintage rattan and have the biggest stock of vintage rattan in the world! We have a selection of rattan designed by Milo Baughman, Paul Lazlo, Paul Frankl, Shirley Ritts, and Tropical Sun Rattan.
Custom cushions C.O.M. (Customers Own Material) are included in the prices. Supply the fabric and we have the cushions made for you. All rattan, bamboo and wicker furniture has been painstakingly refurbished to the highest standards using the best materials. All refinishing is done by rattan workers with over 30 years' experience. Every wrapping and joint has been inspected by “The Rattan Man” Harvey Schwartz. He guarantees you the finest product available for years to come for your home or office.
Harvey Schwartz is the leading expert in vintage rattan and author of “Rattan Furniture: Tropical Comfort Throughout the House”. Signed copies are available on request for $39.99 USD. The hard bound 160 page full color book details the fascinating history of rattan with wonderful vintage and modern photos of tropical decors and rattan.
