A midcentury Dutch minimal and functional design sleeping sofa that can be used in 2 positions sit / sleep
This daybed was most likely produced by Dutch Royal Auping who has a long history over 100 years in making beds and bedroom furniture
The quality of the build in mattress / seating part is amazing, a complex heavy steel frame with spring steel interior
The seating area can be easily pulled out to turn this sofa into a single person bed, the ideal solution for an extra sleeping place in a minimal guest room
We reupholstered this sofa with new Pantera foam interior and an off-white De Ploeg fabric.
