Antique Vintage furniture Wimbledon We are delighted to offer for auction this fully restored circa 1960’s Chesterfield oxblood leather two seat bench sofa Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, for an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll price it up for you This piece has had the full works, it was sitting in my warehouse for two years waiting for some attention, we have done the following, 11 new buttons fitted, the base has been newly padded and 12 times cross webbed, a new hessian base cover, some rips to one arm repaired, the old colour has been stripped out and then the whole piece hand dyed this stunning Bordeaux oxblood colour six times, in-between each stage antiquing solution was applied, the sofa was then wax sealed and hand polished 12 times With the new foam base fitted this sofa is exceptionally comfortable for a fully button base sofa Stylistically this would suit a modern contemporary city home or a 16th century county town house, wherever you place it the charm and charisma pours from every angle Dimensions Height:- 89cm Width:- 135.5cm Depth:- 83.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland.
