About the Item
Two-seat sofa upholstered in felt wool, with a wide range of available colors.
Truno is a compact two-seater sofa designed by Corrado Corradi Dell'Acqua in 1960. The seat composed of a single cushion embraced on three sides by the wide back anticipates the shapes that would be repeated by the designer also in some of his later products, such as the very famous Angolo armchair.
Its deep, leg-warming seat makes it more than a small conversation sofa: it is a real cuddle.
Its shape with tapered protrusions, connected to the enveloping ones of the backrest, and its fabric-covered base make the design discreet but highly refined, a bit like its designer, a gentleman of yesteryear who was passionate about opera and design and who frequented Maria Callas and Luchino Visconti in a Milan that no longer exists.
