About the Item
We are very pleased to offer a handsome, Mid-Century modern set of three barstools attributed to Finnish American industrial designer Pipsan Saarinen Swanson, circa the 1950s. Each stool is a testament to the era's design finesse, showcasing a sculptural, black wrought iron frame that not only lends a modern aesthetic but also ensures enduring durability. The distinctive allure of this set lies in the rattan seats, the material's warm and earthy tones provide a pleasing contrast to the wrought iron frame. Rattan has been preserved as it has undergone a professional rejuvenation process, including revarnishing and resealing; furthermore, the wrought iron legs have received a thoughtful restoration with a meticulous repaint. This set has been restored and is in great condition ready to be used for years to come. Please see all attached pictures.
