19th Century Spanish Carved Walnut Chairs with Embossed Leather, Set of Eight
About the Item
Dress a dining or breakfast table with this elegant suite of antique chairs. Crafted in Spain circa 1880, and built of walnut wood, each chair stands on carved and fluted legs ending with front scrolled legs; they are further decorated with a bottom stretcher. Each chair has a wide and deep seat and the tall arched back is embellished with leaf motif finials; both seat and back are upholstered with the original embossed patinated brown leather, dressed with large decorative brass nail heads. The set of eight chairs is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina.
