Antique George II Mahogany Stool from the Mid-18th Century of Quality Craftsmans

About the Item

Antique George II mahogany stool from the mid-18th century, showcasing quality and rarity for its age. This stool is both decorative and attractive, with no loose joints or wobbles. The elegant mahogany cabriole legs contribute to its overall appeal. The stool has a solid, heavy, and quality feel. Recently upholstered in a heavy-weight fabric with an off-white color, it is in good antique condition. The upholstery work has been reported to include the replacement of some components beneath. The overall maximum dimensions are 57cm in width, 46cm in depth, and 47cm in height (seat height when sat on). As is typical for antique furniture of this age, there are minor historic knocks, marks, chips, cracks, scratches, and repairs. The stool is free from woodworm. Stock number 18357.
