Carved English Chippendale Stool

About the Item

This carved English Chippendale stool has all of its original four glue blocks underneath with four 19th century reinforcements added. The legs are carved with beaded corners and interlaced blind fretwork on all eight sides. The legs are supported by an “H” cross stretcher having exposed dovetail construction.
