Elegant Brazilian Stool in Wood and Faux Fur
About the Item
Very elegant wooden pouf of fine Brazilian manufacture produced in the 1950s.
The Brazilian design is seen in the clean, hard lines as well as the woodwork.
The supporting feet are very unique: two interlocking planks were created, so that they create two feet and two toes. The feet are not flattened on the ground, but are slightly arched; each foot proudly displays a spherical hollow at the bottom of the foot. The stem from which starts out wide, narrows in the center to give the stool a nice slender shape, then goes still to widen under the seat. The seat has been upholstered in a beautiful white faux fur.
The stools are very rare and are certainly great in homes with a warm, enveloping air, just like them. price refers to the individual item.
