A French Empire style painted wood curule stool from the early 20th century, with carved rosettes and new upholstery. Created in France during the first quarter of the 20th century, this painted stool features a rectangular seat newly recovered with a neutral toned fabric, resting on a double X-form base accented with delicately carved rosettes. Raised on petite feet, the stool is painted in a soft color complimenting the classical lines beautifully.
