About the Item

George II Walnut Stool (formerly the property of Nelson A Rockefeller & before that John D. Rockefeller) The stool with a shaped slip seat raised on leaf & floral carved legs, ending in claw & ball feet. One leg stamped S.G.W. Also, bearing a label with JDR 3rd Later. This Stool was sold at Sotheby's Nelson Rockefeller sale, Oct 6th & 7th 1978. The stool comes with the original Sotheby's Catalog as well as my purchase receipt from the buyer @ the Sotheby's sale.
