Thai Hua is an industrial designer originally from Vietnam trained in Switzerland. Since 2003 Thai Hua has worked as a freelance designer and in 2008 he founded his studio THAI HAUA INDUSTRIAL DESIGN in Zurich, Switzerland. In addition to running his own studio, he is creative director of WERENBACH and a professor at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences. Thai Hua's work transforms everyday objects into authentic pieces that respond to the materials and the context in which they exist. His inspiration comes from everyday life and the interaction of people with the objects around them. BREUER is a company specializing in the design and manufacture of custom furniture and spaces, which began in 1993 in Mexico City under the direction of Arturo Verástegui. Since the beginning of the nineties Arturo Verástegui, founder of the company, began his career in the world of furniture: beginning with the distribution and manufacture of residential furniture and with more than a decade of experience in commercial furniture, BREUER was born with a strong industrial and trade vocation. That is only one part of our history, the other began almost 100 years ago with the architect and designer Marcel Breuer, from whom our name arises. But it is not only the name that we take from Marcel Breuer, but also his modernist ideals and the desire to implement the latest in manufacturing technology is his designs.
