hiddenSkin is a stool and a side table in black tinted oak (satin finished) and black leather.
This piece has three other variations : whitened Douglas pine (sanded finish), natural oak (matt finish) with black leather and natural oak (matt finish).
We find the very essence of material treated in a radically different way with the hiddenSkin stool, where leather and wood are brought together to bring out the feel of their hyper-materiality in an impeccable geometric, compact shape that demands to be touched.
hiddenSkin is available in four different finishings, whitened Douglas pine (sanded finish), black tinted oak (satin finish) with black leather, natural oak (matt finish) with black leather and natural oak (matt finish).
hiddenSkin is part of the Morning Mist collection created by YMER&MALTA Studio. These stools were created for a special project themed “skin” for the French Ministry of Culture. Morning Mist essentially proposes new shapes and thoughts on the theme of light, the ultimate emotional material. Through this ode to light, Morning Mist proposes an alteration of reality, or perhaps attempts to reveal the essence of the real.
hiddenSkin is in a limited edition of 12 copies per finishing and each piece has an authenticity certificate.
