Well designed early bar stool (Model HB 6917) by Horst Bruning, produced by Kill International. The steel frame provides a stunning contrast with the comfortable black leather seat, which is still completely original. Horst Brüning worked together with Fabricius & Kastholm and shared many ideas with them which you can clearly see by the quality of the furniture. Bruning was educated in Hamburg, Copenhagen and Stockholm, after which he started his own studio in Stuttgart in 1963. He implements the Bauhaus idea: minimal in form, functional in application and use, durable in practice, timeless, but nevertheless show the spirit of time.
