About the Item
This large Swedish rattan/cane tripod stool in the style of Tony Paul comes from a 1950 family vacation cottage in the Swedish coastal town Höllviken
Acquired from family of the original owner this stool was been kept in mint condition.
With at large diameter of 45 cm the intact wicker seat has a beautiful light golden glow and the solid turned birch legs shows almost no signs of use.
Turned upside-down, the glue less joinery of cane seat and birch legs reveals cleaver, minimal craftsmanship and knowledge of how wood works over time.
The joinery still fully functional even after all the years passed since this stool was made.
