Inspirational diving, at the same time, is bathing in the river and the sea. Proof of the meeting of fresh and salty waters, sipping the nutritive alchemy of all the biodiversity that inhabits the mangrove. From this ecosystem that borders the coast – between lagoons, estuaries and inlets – emerges the concept of Banqueta Mangue. Forged in the lightness of aluminum, the elegant structure confirms the aerial roots typical of vegetation resistant to saline soil. The organic aesthetic in earthy color integrates harmoniously with external environments. The design immersed in narratives of the tropical scenery shaped by the dance of the tides is a connection link with nature.

Sergio J. Matos
Sérgio J. Matos, 43, born in Paranatinga, a small town in the state of Mato Grosso, specializes in authorial design, furniture, objects and scenography. He has been performing this function for 12 years, but professionally, since the opening of his studio in 2010. The fact that he was born in a region close to the Xingu indigenous reserve, surrounded by the natural diversity of the forest, learned early on to be curious to know , admire and observe this culture, which awoke and stimulated him to look for ways to work with these natural materials and colors extracted from nature.
