- Condition:Repaired: Metal bracket joining base to back (old repair) not by us. Additions or alterations made to the original: We believe that piece had an addition to the stool with a back piece, it looks like a very old addition. Please see photos attached:. Replacements made: Possibly that the backs were replaced over time, this is an old replacement. Wear consistent with age and use. Restorations have been made in the past, but not by us. The piece has had a repair made between the base and the back. A metal bracket had been screwed into place to rejoin the two parts in a folksy type manner.
