About the Item
Elegant, Timeless Pair of French Mid-Century Modern Stools, Ottomans or Benches Hand-crafted and hand-knotted in Rope by Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet, France, circa 1960-1970. These modern craftsman pieces are carefully designed and constructed with rhythmic, geometric abstraction pattern as an integral part of the design. The natural warmth of the materials is mixed with a modern aesthetic to create rare objects that are beautiful and functional in the home. They are also reminiscent of the work of the renowned French 1930's designer, Jean-Michel Frank who used natural and exotic materials in his modernist creations. A 3rd rope stool is also available at additional cost. See the last photo. Dimensions: H 13 x 15.75 x 15.75”.
