About the Item
A pair of pine stools, Charlotte Perriand for Les Arcs ski resort in the late 1960s (Pierre et Vacances).
French furniture with a perfectly stable and solid structure and presented in good general condition.
One of the two is slightly blackened which in no way detracts from its beauty.
These stools are at the crossroads of the traditional Savoyard style and the functional minimalism that the designer discovered during her stays in Japan.

Height: 43cm x Length: 45cm x Depth: 30cm.
Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) is considered one of the most important female designers of the 1950s. Having collaborated for a long time with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, she produced several pieces of metal furniture in 1927 - including the famous chaise longue with variable position that Thonet will publish two years later.
