Reflex Stool Black Stained Matt Lacquer
About the Item
The REFLEX stool is a sculptural approach to comfortable seating. The stool consists of 1 shape multiplied 8 times. The result is a simple stool in a simple construction.
REFLEX is suitable for many settings at home whether in the hallway, living room, kitchen etc. or at cafes. It comes in solid oak in the choice of four finishes: natural matt lacquer, natural oil, black stained matt lacquer or in black oil.
“Bringing the two pieces of wood on each surface together in a bevelled joint makes the stool strong enough to carry the weight of a person. Repeating this technique all the way around achieves cross stability.” – Akiko Kuwahata and Ken Winther, Akiko Ken Made.
The stool is made of solid oak in the choice of four finishes: natural matt lacquer, natural oil, black stained matt lacquer or in black oil. All four finishes leave the grains of the wood clearly visible. Please notice that given the nature of oak each stool will have an individual look – which we quite like. Further please note that colours shown on screen might differ to some extent from colours on the actual object, so we cannot guarantee a colour match.
