About the Item
Introducing an ultra-rare set of wrought iron Art Deco barstools designed after the influential French icon Jacques Adnet. Painstakingly hand-cut, hand-tooled and hand-shaped the full-grain leather upholstery has been artfully crafted as an homage to the late great Adnet.
An icon of luxurious French Modernism, Jacques Adnet was born in 1900 and went on to become director of the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. He believed in the functional aspect of furniture combined with geometrical simplicity. Jacques Adnet was inspired by pre-classical styles and was well acquainted with traditional furniture. He is best known for his use of wrought iron pieces which utilized natural materials, especially leather, which are on full display with this exquisite set of stools.
With their elegantly curved bases, artfully-crafted leather upholstery and imposing stature this truly one-of-a-kind set of barstools is sure to make a BOLD impression in any space they inhabit. Perfect for collectors and designers alike searching for an authentic French Art Deco piece this set can blend seamlessly against a multitude of design backdrops from Art Nouveau to Industrial to Brutalism. Make them yours today before they're gone forever.
