Vintage Country French Carved Oak Stools with Painted Rush Seat, Set of Four
About the Item
Dress a bar with this elegant set of vintage stools armchairs. Hand carved from oak wood in Normandy, France circa 1990, each chair stands on scroll legs, over a double bottom stretcher. The back has two carved scalloped ladders and is embellished with side rolled armrests. The wide and deep seat is dressed with hand woven and hand painted rush. The two-ladder tall and sturdy stools are in excellent condition commensurate commensurate with age and use and adorn a rich walnut patina associated with a colorful seat. The seat height is 28.5" from the floor; a perfect height for any 42 to 45" bar counter height.
