Handsome vintage Mid Century Modern adjustable and swivel barstools comprised of the original black vinyl or faux leather, molded, curved faux rosewood laminate backs, chrome shaft, and cast aluminum four prong base & footrest. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the edge of both backs has been filled and repainted black & the sides of the aluminum bases have a fresh coat of black paint. Beautiful swivel bar stool by A. Brandt comprised of solid ranch oak and a dark brown almost black vinyl or faux leather seat cushion. Wonderful vintage condition. Fabulous Modern Industrial pair of bar height barstools comprised of chromed steel frames, blue gaberdine-like fabric seats, and new chrome tube cap feet. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Inherent of some industrial styles these stools have obvious welds that are part of their charm. This is an AWESOME vintage Egyptian Revival handmade wood Thebes stool comprised of a lovely wood frame with lattice bracing under the curved plywood seat, straight legs, and stretchers on all four sides. Simple lines and a unique presence. So… Thebes stools have been around for quite some time!! As a matter of fact, one was discovered in the tomb of King Tutankhamum circa 1400 B.C.!! In the late 19th century, Liberty of London began producing the Egyptian-style stool in flexible-yet-durable plywood as a part of the store's Furnishing & Decorating Studio. Liberty continued manufacturing the stool until approximately 1919 and, since that time, designers have reproduced the style all over the world. I’d say they are here to stay!! As a piece of practical design, the Thebes stool functions as both a seat and an ottoman and will be wonderful in any room of your home! It is Egyptian Revival in style with an Arts & Crafts flair and it’s going to blend in beautifully with your décor! You could use it as is or throw a pillow on top.
