Assembled Set Of Six Oak Windsor Chairs
About the Item
An exceptional set of timeworn Windsor Armchairs with fine aged patina. Carved oak Windsor chairs, the hoop backs with cylinders and openwork carved splats. U shaped backs into the arms with turned supports. The shaped seats raised on splayed turned legs front and back. U shaped front stretchers with two turned stretchers at the back. With yellow, red and green striped cushions. This is an assembled set and one of the chairs is a few inches shorter than the rest of the set.
H. 43", W. 21 3/4", Depth 21", seat H. 17 1/2", H. with cushion 21 1/2"
Condition: Please see all detail photos. Overall good condition with very little sway to the frames, one with damage to a back stretcher (loose), one chair with front U stretcher however missing the back supports, one re-glued stretcher, some wear to crest rails and arms, some scrapes to lower legs however despite the losses and wear the presentation is exceptional and authentic.
