Unusual early 19th Century Irish comb back Windsor armchair, with crude fan back, zig zag spindles, plank seat and spoke shaved legs in wonderful traces of green, brown and yellow paint. Irish Windsors are scarce, especially ones not in pine. This one, in ash and sycamore, has the typical pieced arm construction found on Irish and sometimes West Country windsor chairs.
