American Southern Chippendale Mahogany Upholstered Wing Back Chair, Circa 1840



American Southern Chippendale mahogany wing back chair with serpentine back, flared wings, flanking scrolled arms, removable seat cushion, and terminating on claw and ball feet. Secondary wood consist of bald cypress and tulip poplar. Chair is upholstered in white muslin with horse hair and cotton padding, 19th century.
