We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original 1960s hand dyed green leather Chesterfield wingback armchair with George III straight H-frame legs and a matching fully buttoned wingback armchair with hand-carved claw and ball feet Please also note the delivery fee is just a guide, for an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I'll price it up for you The condition is exactly what you should be looking for if you are in the market for an original quality piece, its hand dyed which means the piece is upholstered with plain russet leather, its then hand coloured to the customer’s specific requirement, the colour of these pieces are exactly what modern luxury seating manufacturers have been trying to replicate for years, you only achieve it by buying quality and aging honestly The leather as mentioned is premium russet hide, russet leather is natural untreated leather and shows the imperfections of the hide, its used when making vintage furniture for the natural characteristics add to the look feel and charm, if you have a look at the side and back panels you will see the patina, its stunning.
