17th Century Joined Oak Coffer

About the Item

17th century joined oak triple panel top coffer with hinged triple panel top. Hand-carved decoration adorns front rail and front. Suitable to function as a table or seat, as well as for storage. Perfect to place at the foot of a bed or sitting under a window or mirror. Note: Original/early finish on antique and vintage metal will include some, or all, of the following: patina, scaling, light rust, discoloration, and corrosion. Regional differences in humidity and climate during shipping may cause antique and vintage wood to shrink and/or split along its grain, veneer to loosen and/or peel, and painted finishes and gilt to crack and flake.
