English Carved Oak Coffer Chest

About the Item

This is an 19th century English oak coffer chest, similar to what we in the states would describe as a hope chest. This particular chest has a lid that opens to reveal an interior fully outfitted for silver storage with myriad trays for cutlery and linens. Two drawers with brass lion's head ring pulls at the base provide additional storage.
